PETIT VERDI is the most recent member of the vineyard, a wine of outstanding quality and limited production, a privileged blend of intense Petit Verdot and powerful Cabernet Sauvignon. Both vines produced in our vineyards located on the upper slopes of the La Lajuela microvalle, in the Colchagua valley. Its grapes are cut by hand and the wine is aged for a year and a half in French and American oak. It is a wine with a rich deep garnet color and intense notes of black fruits, chocolate with mints and soft hints of vanilla. On the palate it is an elegant entry, exuberant and silky wine, with a spicy character and a juicy palate with firm tannins that leaves a long and pleasant finish.
ORIGIN: Colchagua Valley, CHILE.
AGING: The wine is kept for 18 months in first and second use French and American oak barrels.
STORAGE RECOMMENDATION: It can be enjoyed immediately or stored for twenty years or more in a cool and dry place.
RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE: 16º to 18º C (61º - 64º F).
DECANT: For at least an hour.
VARIETY: 52% Petit Verdot + 48% Cabernet Sauvignon

The Colchagua Valley
The Colchagua valley has evolved in the last twenty years, from a quiet extension of agricultural land to being one of the most active and prestigious winemaking regions in the country. The relatively low elevation of the coastal hills allows the breezes from the Pacific Ocean to interact with the Winds coming from the Andes Mountains, thus cooling the valley, and extending the ripening process in the region which benefits the conservation of the acidity in the grapes, which resolves in red wines of excellent coloration, great freshness, and good ageing capacity. The vast majority of the wines produced in Colchagua are reds, with a particular penchant to produce Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Syrah.
