ANICETO BARREL RESERVE wines are made in honor of Mr. Aniceto Verdi. Traditional, powerful and elegant wines, made in the Curicó and Maule valleys for decades. Our oenological team selects the grapes for these wines by hand, which after vinification are mainly aged in American oak barrels. Our ANICETO BARREL RESERVE Red Blend is a blend mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, it has a deep ruby color, on the nose it presents aromas of cassis and liquorice, with second aromas of vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth it is very pleasant, with a medium acidity, round evolution, firm and playful tannins and a long, woody finish. This wine can be a great companion for meats, roasts, cheeses, pastas or antipasto.
ORIGIN: Central Valley, CHILE.
AGING: 50% of the wine is kept for 6 months in second and third use American oak barrels.
STORAGE RECOMMENDATION: It can be enjoyed immediately or stored for twelve years or more in a cool and dry place.
RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE: 16º to 18º C (61º - 64º F).
DECANT: Recommended, for at least 30 minutes.

The Central Valley of Chile – protected by the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Andes Cordillera to the east – is the ideal region for winemaking in Chile. With a stable Mediterranean climate and diverse soils, it offers excellent conditions for the production and growth of numerous grape varieties. Its large thermal variation causes dry summers with radiant days and cold nights which help the grapes reach their maximum potential of colour, aroma, and flavour.
