ANICETO CENTENARY Carménère Grand Reserve, is a wine that reflects years of work and mixtures of our oenological team to arrive at an intense and elegant wine, produced in our hillside vineyards of Colchagua and Curicó. Using only selected grapes that are grown mainly in sloping vineyards, a slow but complete maturation is ensured, then slowly aged in French and American oak barrels. Our Carménère has a ruby red color with bluish reflections. Nose with intense notes of spices, plum, cassis and coffee. Medium bodied, it is lively, with a velvety texture over silky tannins and a long finish. This wine can be a great accompaniment to meat or chicken stews.
ORIGIN: Central Valley, CHILE.
AGING: 50% of the wine is kept for 9 months in second and third use American and French oak barrels.
STORAGE RECOMMENDATION: It can be enjoyed immediately or stored for fifteen years or more in a cool and dry place.
RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE: 16º to 18º C (61º - 64º F).
DECANT: Recommended, for at least 30 minutes.

The Central Valley of Chile – protected by the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Andes Cordillera to the east – is the ideal region for winemaking in Chile. With a stable Mediterranean climate and diverse soils, it offers excellent conditions for the production and growth of numerous grape varieties. Its large thermal variation causes dry summers with radiant days and cold nights which help the grapes reach their maximum potential of colour, aroma, and flavour.
